The Warmley hosue conservation area was the birthplace of global zinc production during the victorian times. The site is heavily protected and in the setting of the Grade Two listed Warmley House. On top of this the access very restrained between a pair of semi-detached houses. All these hurdles were overcome through a sesnsitvily designed scheme praised by the conservation officer for reflecting the heritage of the site through a contempaory addition, whilst also reflecting traditional typologies within the wider area.
