A 300 years old barn repurposed as a  family home

This home was created under Class Q of the general permitted devilment order allowing the barn to change use to a dwelling without the need for full permission. The walls and roof structure were retained with a small rear upper floor delicately inserted. The open ended gable was fully glazed to direct internal lines of sight across the Somerset hills.
