Amidst the ongoing housing crisis, it is imperative to explore all potential avenues for increasing supply. While greenfield developments and high-rise constructions often spark debate, there exists an untapped opportunity in the form of small, underutilized sites in and around our Built Enviroment.
While we undertake various types of projects, IWA primarily focuses on unlocking the potential of these small sites for new housing. These may include backland settings, rear gardens, garages, or old barns. Generally, Planning Policy restricts development in these contexts, but with a creative, design-led approach tailored to each site's unique character, IWA can secure planning approval where conventional approaches might fail.
